Superhero fights bad graffiti grammar
A superhero who calls himself Grammar Man is correcting graffiti grammar mistakes in the county
of Kent in England. The mystery man uses a white pen to correct
mistakes in graffiti and draws a picture of a superhero with an
exclamation mark on his chest, a cape and a mask.
He corrected words like “woz ere” and “innit brav” that someone had written in Victoria Gardens park in the town of Chatham and wrote, “Terrible spelling and very poor use of grammar. This is murder of the English Language. POW! Grammar Man strikes again.” Beside a drawing of a girl that said, “no wonder you hate me when I look like this I love you though", he wrote, "Punctuation again".
Jon Symons, who lives in Chatham, told reporters, “It's hilarious. It's bad enough seeing graffiti everywhere, but when you see the poor grammar and spelling it does make it feel a lot worse. But this guy has gone a step further and corrected it.” Now a local newspaper is trying to unmask the mystery man by asking readers to call if they see him.
